Over the years I’ve eaten some pretty amazing food in some outstanding restaurants around the world. I’ve been lucky enough to do a bit of travel and eat well as a vegan while doing it. One thing that has become apparent while undertaking these experiences is that I don’t feel like I’ve missed out on anything- in fact I think I’ve had an even more enriched experience. This has helped me come to the belief that you can make anything vegan.
This challenge is my quest to try and prove this assertion; an assertion that anything means anything. Realism dictates that I won’t be able to replicate exact pieces of meat or fish. I’m not going to be making a whole blanched lobster or anything. What would be the point? Instead, this will be about making vegan recipes and dishes that are traditionally omnivorous or seen as out of each for vegans.
